Community Development Links Initiative

Our Impact

Creating opportunities, strengthening communities and supporting people through practical, community-based action.

Our approach

Change begins with opportunity

Community Development Links Initiative (CDLI) works to create learning opportunities and practical support for vulnerable people and communities.

Our work brings together education, skills development, health support, advocacy and community-based action.

Rather than focusing only on immediate needs, CDLI also works to create opportunities that can help people learn, develop skills and participate more fully in society.

Where we work

Supporting people and communities

CDLI's programmes respond to the needs of vulnerable children, women, young people, schools and communities.

01

Children

CDLI supports vulnerable children through educational scholarships, health insurance, nutritional support, school needs and activities that encourage learning and wellbeing.

02

Women

Women and widows are supported through vocational and enterprise-focused initiatives, savings and loans cooperative activities, health education and health insurance support.

03

Young People

CDLI creates opportunities for young people through scholarships, vocational skills training and community apprenticeships, including support for young people with special needs.

04

Schools and Education

Through teacher training, school-based projects and education advocacy, CDLI works to support stronger educational opportunities.
